Service points

We offer a number of services at VWE's service points. Our service points make it possible to export a car and obtain a new Dutch number plate through a simple process. Below, we provide more information on the different services:

1. Basic export documents
   We cancel the vehicle’s registration with the Netherlands Vehicle Authority (RDW) and ensure that you receive Part II of the Registration Certificate to import it into the country in question. We also offer temporary number plates, temporary insurance (including breakdown service if applicable), and a declaration on type-approval data, amongst other things.
    
2. Supplementary export documents
   If the vehicle is being exported to a country outside the EU, we will provide the correct documents for customs. Examples of such documents include Export Accompanying Document (EAD documents) or EUR1/invoice declarations.
    
3. Emissions sticker
   If you are going to drive in Germany, be aware that many German cities require emissions stickers. Many of our service points have these available at the front desk.
    
4. Number plates
   If you need Dutch number plates for a car, motorcycle, or a scooter, the front desk at our main office in Heerhugowaard can provide you with these on the spot.
