You can temporarily insure an export vehicle with a Green Card. This international insurance certificate offers liability insurance and has a 15-day term of validity. As a consumer, you can take out a Green Card at one of the VWE servicepoints. If you wish to do so, at any rate take along the registration document, transit registration certificate and/or export registration document and valid proof of identity for the driver.
