VWE Car Assistance expands the coverage offered by the Green Card. For a low insurance premium, you can count on assistance in the event of mechanical or technical malfunctions of your export vehicle. This assures you that your export vehicle will reach its
destination safely.

Car Assistance can be taken out in combination with a Green Card for passenger cars (Category A) with a valid export registration document and a valid APK (MOT). The Car Assistance coverage is valid throughout Europe and, just like the Green Card, has a 15-day term of validity.
 

• The costs of an emergency roadside repair are covered;*
• Transport of the vehicle to a garage or other address in cases where (emergency) repair is not an option; 
• Reimbursement of the costs incurred for guarding, towing, salvaging and storing the vehicle;
• Transport of the vehicle to its final destination.

Please note: the above reimbursements apply as long as the value of the vehicle is not exceeded.
